Campus & Studios
Whether you’re a seasoned performer or a budding composer, we have a space that is designed for you.
LIHSA’s facilities are an essential part of the education and training. Our 4 acre plus campus consists of three buildings, totaling close to 40,000 square feet of space, created expressly for the purpose of training professional artists. The Rosalind Joel Conservatory for Music and Theatre is home to The Seymour Weiner Theatre, a well equipped 350 seat space venue, two black box theaters, a digital recording studio, music classrooms, rehearsal rooms, teaching spaces, a workshop space dedicated to scenery, properties and costume creation. Two other buildings house multi-media, dance and fine arts studios.
Produce, Collaborate and Share
LIHSA's digital music media lab is a fully-equipped music production facility with 18 Macintosh digital audio workstations (DAWs) featuring powerful music theory, production and ear training software. Work on your own to build a new composition or production project, or engage in the creative process with your classmates by publishing your work to a interactive audio production network. You can record a string quartet, mix a film soundtrack, or engineer a friend’s recording in a comfortable studio environment.
