Outstanding Senior: Tiffany Gfrerer

Tiffany Gfrerer is a LIHSA Musical Theater student from Massapequa. Here’s more about this outstanding senior.

After learning about LIHSA through a friend, Tiffany was excited to attend so she could expand on her craft. She feels LIHSA helped her to become more confident in herself and trust her abilities as an artist.

Theater History and Rep was Tiffany’s favorite class because she learned about how theater came to be and also created her rep book of different types of songs she can use in auditions.

Tiffany participated in Broadway Supports LIHSA and enjoyed working alongside Broadway stars, seeing everything come together with limited rehearsal time, and working with am students.

Among the projects Tiffany is most proud of in her time at LIHSA was the production of Big Fish. She shares, “I was able to grow a lot in my role. It was a smaller part but her significance was impactful for the show. It was very meaningful, a great last show at LIHSA.”

Tiffany shares this for younger students attending LIHSA, “Absorb everything that is given to you here. Take your time but also be in the moment. Use all the opportunities, all the connections and all the classes and work. Give it 100% your best effort. It’ll help you grow.”

Chris Brick was a teacher who made a big impact on Tiffany. She admired his professionalism, especially in rehearsals. She shares, “How fast and precise he can get things done in a short amount of time is a lesson that I can take with me throughout college.”

Speaking of college, Tiffany is excited to attend SUNY Geneseo to pursue her BFA in Musical Theater next year. She will miss her LIHSA friends, teachers, and directors. As she prepares to graduate she has a message for her LIHSA community, “Thank you for the time I had here. It allowed me to grow a lot and it was really special.”

Thank you, Tiffany, for being such a special part of our community!
