Field Trip: LI Museum 2026

LIHSA students attended an exhibit at the Long Island Museum in Stony Brook called Video Games: The Great Connector. It showed how young people connect with themselves, community, and the future through video games. There were many interactive components integrated into the exhibit. There was also a room of Apple computers from the past 50 years on display from a personal collection. The students finished the trip with a character drawing activity as well as a button making activity.

As a bonus, LIHSA was thrilled and honored to be acknowledged in a sign seen at the Long Island Museum about the history of game design on Long Island!  Keep scrolling for photos.
