Beta Testing Day 2025

Beta Testing Day took place on Monday, December 15, 2025 and was a fantastic event. Game Design students created innovative and creative projects and shared them with about 30 attendees trying first iteration games created by our students.

Faculty member Michael Minerva shared, “Game testing day was a huge success — parents and counselors jumped in, played student-created games, and gave thoughtful feedback that will make our next iterations even stronger. Their enthusiasm, constructive ideas, and genuine support showed how powerful collaboration can be for student learning and creativity.”

Games that were tested include Cymbol, Typing for Dummies, Color Birds, Swatch, Balancing Act, and Employee Fitness.

The day received media coverage by 1010 WINS Radio and News 12 Long Island.
