Studio Snapshot: Visual Arts Oct 2026

Students in Visual Arts are busy preparing for some exciting fall events.  On October 22nd, students will attend Portfolio Review Night at Heckscher Park to showcase their talents and to receive feedback from college and conservatory admissions counselors.  This event helps prepare LIHSA Visual Arts students prepare for the next steps in the college application process.

Artists are also hard at work creating original content for a LIHSA Art Show at Glen Cove Senior Center.  On November 5th, LIHSA students will greet guests to share a curated show with works in the theme Ouroboros.

And the annual tradition of “INKTOBER” has returned with students creating small pieces based on a daily prompt.  Check out our socials LIHSA_Official to see the final product.

Here’s a sneak peak at some of the pieces students are creating.
