Film & Media Arts Festival 2026
LIHSA Film and Media Festival, held at Huntington Cinema Arts on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, featured short films, animated shorts, game, design, renderings, slideshows of visual, art, and original music. The event featured students from 3-D animation, computer, game design, multimedia, TV and film, performing arts, music, and visual arts.
Students from other programs were featured as actors, and All in attendance were thrilled!
Long Island High School for the Arts even introduced our first ever mascot, Canva the Cat! (More on that next week!)
Thank you to Kevin Edwards, Chris Fedorczak, Mike Minerva, Robyn Morgan, and Alex Whittier for all of their hard work this school year. Our students loved the opportunity to showcase their original pieces for family and friends!
